Our dining rooms, two commercial kitchens, covered porches, glass roofed pavilion, common spaces, grounds, and docks can accommodate weddings of 100 guests or more. The Inn welcomes all couples and ceremonies, including marriage, commitment, and renewal.
Your options for event, ceremony, or reception at the Inn are almost without limit. Choose a small, intimate ceremony for family and friends on Sunset Point under our flower entwined wedding arch. Recite your vows in our waterfront transparent roofed pavilion. Depart your ceremony by boat from our private dock while your guests enjoy poolside hors d’oeuvres and fine wines. Return to a reception dinner prepared by our world class chefs, with choices from casual North Carolina seafood barbeque buffet to elegant five course gourmet fine dining. Complete your night under the stars dancing barefoot in the grass to a DJ, waltzing on a fine wooden dance floor to a string quartet, swinging your partner to our unique local bluegrass across a black and white checkerboard dance floor, or anything in between. As the night winds down, you and your wedding party retire to our elegant rooms, while your guests walk to their accommodations at the lovely rental homes that keep the Inn company along our soundfront ridge.
The Inn's wedding and event services range from small, intimate affairs with poolside cocktail hour and and soundside hors d'oeuvre reception to full takeover of the Inn's grounds and buildings. Our facility fees are on a sliding scale, based on number of guests and access to the Inn’s resources:

Our facility fees include the services of one of our professional event planners, use of the Inn's grounds, tables, chairs, glassware, flatware, and linens. Dance floors and other special equipment are available through our friends at Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals.
The Inn customizes menu, beverage choices, decorating, and logistics for each event to your vision, budget, and specifications. Catering is provided by the Inn's world class culinary staff with budgets beginning at $35 to $40 per person
For those holding weddings off of the Inn grounds, our culinary staff provides fine dining catering and related services for receptions at the many beautiful event homes on the island.
