Evening Cruises and Dolphin Watch
Watch the sunset
from the beautiful and peaceful waters of the sound with our Evening
Cruise service. Choose from a one or two hour power boat cruise leaving
right from our dock on the Pamlico Sound, or an evening cruise under
sail. Add a gourmet meal on the water with our Elegant
Picnic package, or select wines, champagnes, cheeses, fresh fruits and
chocolates with our Evening Indulgence package. Feel like a daylight
adventure?
Go for a Dolphin Watch cruise, and add an Elegant Picnic package
to make a day of it on the waters of the Pamlico Sound. Cruise packages
are available to inn guests each day on a first come, first served basis,
dependent on charter availability. Cruises are private charters with
licensed captains, and are priced per hour based on captain and boat.
Extended Horseback Riding
Join our friends
at Equine Adventures for a
special romantic ride exclusively for Inn guests. The journey from
their stables to the Lighthouse is a 4-5 hour ride, depending on the
pace. You’ll ride through Buxton Woods to the beach, and out to
Cape Point. From your vista over looking the marsh, you can view the
light house while enjoying a romantic picnic lunch before mounting
back up for your ride back via the beach and woods.
