The Inn's culinary staff is pleased to provide our world class fine dining experience for events off of the Inn's grounds. Our off premises culinary policies adhere to the same rigorous standards as our restaurant.
The fish we serve is frequently taken from the nets of friends that very morning. Our beef and chicken dishes are built around our organic grain fed beef and organic vegetable fed chicken. Our produce is, whenever possible, fresh organic.
We believe that excellent meals begin with the finest available ingredients. Similar to our restaurant policy, our catering and private chef services do not maintain fixed menus. Our chefs build a menu specific to you, your tastes, and your event.
Brian Slaski graduated from the prestigious Johnson and Wales University in 1991 with a degree in Culinary Arts. He began his career as a chef at Wintergreen Ski Resort, and held several senior chef positions at fine dining establishments in the Tidewater area of Virginia, notably at Todd Jurich’s Bistro in Norfolk, VA. He combined his love of snow boarding with his passion for southwestern food during a tour at La Montana in Steamboat Springs, CO. He served as sous chef at The View in Birmingham, AL, one of the top five restaurants in the nation as ranked by Bon Appetit and Food and Wine Magazines, and as Executive Sous Chef on the Yorktown Clipper, a Four Diamond rated 300 foot elegant sailing cruise ship. Most recently, he served as Executive Chef at The Blue Hippo in Norfolk, VA, where he won Portfolio Magazine’s prestigious Golden Fork Award.

Your choices range from casual North Carolina seafood barbeque buffet to elegant five course gourmet fine dining and everything in between. Bring us a specific menu or just the look and feel you envision for your event. We’ll build a turnkey plan and menu, provide a complete staff sized for your event, and bring all of the fine china, linens, flatware, and service items needed to exceed your expectations.
